“Ms Pip White is a highly experienced practising physiotherapist with over 30 years’ clinical experience across NHS, private practice and military healthcare settings.

She is Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) accredited and an Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) Tier 1* Expert Witness.

She is the Managing Director of Clifford White Medicolegal Ltd. Pip accepts instructions from both Claimant and Defendant solicitors and is known for providing independent, objective and evidence-based expert opinion irrespective of the instructing party.

Pip has particular expertise in liability and breach of duty reports involving military personnel, having worked as a Ministry of Defence physiotherapist for many years.

She has extensive experience of the unique occupational and training demands associated with military service and the standards of physiotherapy care provided within defence healthcare settings.

Pip accepts instructions for initial screening advice and for full breach of duty, liability and causation reports in the following physiotherapy areas for adult (18+) patients:

General and advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy; advanced practice and first contact practitioner (FCP) services; extended scope practitioner (ESP) services; spinal disorders including:

Cauda equina syndrome; orthopaedic physiotherapy including inpatient and post-operative rehabilitation following joint replacement surgery; clinical triage services; and primary care musculoskeletal practice.

Pip also considers issues relating to consent to treatment, failure to assess and/or diagnose, failure to refer on and/or request further investigations, red flags.

In addition to her extensive clinical practice, Pip has held a number of senior national professional leadership roles within physiotherapy, providing expert advice on professional standards, clinical governance, patient safety, and physiotherapy scope of practice, and is a former Fellow of NICE (2020-2022)
