Ms Shveta Bansal is a Consultant Ophthalmologist based at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Areas of experience includes:

Comprehensive Ophthalmology including Cataract surgery and all causes of Vision loss.

In addition, Ms Bansal specialises in Neuro-ophthalmology and Strabismus (Squint) surgery, for which she leads a tertiary service in the Lancashire region.

She manages patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical problems which have impacted vision, including trauma, surgery, brain tumours , disorders of the optic nerve and raised intracranial pressure.
