I have been writing expert witness reports since 2013 and these have included instructions from Coroners, Solicitors in medical negligence claims and the Police in criminal cases.

I have completed over 60 reports. I have attended expert witness courses with the British Medical Association and Specialist Info. My last update was in March 2019. These have included courses on report writing and court room skills.

I am aware of my obligations to the court and have read part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and the accompanying practice direction. I have read the “Protocol for Instruction of Experts to give Evidence in Civil Claims” and am aware of the Code of Practice for Experts.

Intensive care medicine, critical care, intensive care unit, sepsis, kidneys (acute kidney injury), acute renal failure, acute kidney injury, endocrine emergencies, critical illness prescribing, pharmacokinetics, ventilation, sedation, end of life care, medical ethics, peri-operative care, infection, antibiotics.
