I undertook medico-legal work in Australia from 1999 to 2008 when I moved to the UK. Since 2017 I have provided over 40 reports and opinions to jurisdictions in United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Singapore and Australia.

Of these approximately 60% have been on behalf of defendants and 40% plaintiffs. In addition to this I regularly provide advice to the GMC for matters they are investigating in relation to specific events and fitness to practice.

I also provide advice and have undertaken investigations in relation to individual clinical cases as well as concerns related to broader aspects of adequacy of surgical services or practices.

Within my own work within the NHS I also am regularly engaged by Trust Solicitors as well as external solicitors for advice regarding medicolegal issues that involve the broader responsibility I have for surgery.
