Professor Russell Beale has published over 200 papers, is a world-renowned academic, author of one of the leading textbooks on Human-Computer Interaction, ex-editor of one of the preeminent journals, and an industry consultant and advisor.
He has spoken at many international conferences and workshops, and provided advice in legal cases, venture capital investment due diligence, business disputes, and assisted in valuations of businesses. He has founded six high technology companies and understands the roles that intellectual property, technical capabilities and governance play in creating sustainable businesses.
He has a wide range of interests across the intersection of technology, people and artificial intelligence. When not working he can be found sailing, mountain biking, or messing about with his kids.
