Steve is an experienced Social Worker with nearly a decade of progressive experience across adult social care, safeguarding, and integrated service delivery.

With a career spanning both frontline and leadership roles, Steve has developed subject matter expertise in complex case management, safeguarding adults, mental capacity, and change management across local authority settings.

His transition into children’s services added breadth to his safeguarding experience, as he led Section 47 investigations, contributed to Best Interest decision-making, and became Achieving Best Evidence (ABE) trained, enabling him to support vulnerable children and intimidated witnesses within the criminal justice system.

Currently, Steve manages a high-performing team overseeing the care needs of approximately 3,000 residents.

He leads on high-risk and complex interventions, including Court of Protection work, organisational safeguarding, and strategic planning with commissioning services.
