I have carried out medico legal assessments since about 1976. At that time, I was doing research for my MD thesis on burns and other trauma and my MD on the subject was published in 1981.

I reviewed the effects of trauma and this preceded the present-day terminology of PTSD as this term only became into being during the Vietnam War.

I have great experience of assessing trauma, brain injury, long term pain, occupational health and employment matters and general psychiatry, this includes medical negligence.

I also assess Capacity. I have done research and treated patients with FND. Appointed to provide medicolegal reports for Health Ombudsman 2021
