Dr Rahim is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with experience of working in adult mental health, complex needs and in forensic settings.
Dr Rahim has a particular interest in working with degenerative disorders and acquired brain injury and currently works in both assessment and neurorehabilitation.
She has considerable experience of assessing mental capacity, both contemporaneously and retrospectively.
She is typically instructed by the claimant and has a specialist interest in the neurological sequelae of traumatic brain injury.
She is currently a Special (Medical) Visitor to the Court of Protection and the Office of the Public Guardian, assessing mental capacity on the instruction of the court.
Her research interests are in the areas of trauma, the long-term outcomes of neurological conditions and LGBT mental health.
She has prepared over 100 reports since 2019 and has been cross-examined in Crown court.
