My field of expertise is general and geriatric medicine.

I have been a Consultant Physician for 27 years. I have done numerous medico-legal reports on pressure sores, poor nursing and hospital care, capacity assessments, falls and anything to do with older people.

I regularly do medico-legal work, under instruction, for solicitors. This is mostly related to older people and includes assessment of mental capacity, life expectancy, desktop screening reports, breach of duty/causation, condition and prognosis.

My work is mostly for the plaintiff and less so for defendants.

I have particular interests in dementia, stroke, depression, falls, Parkinson’s and general frailty but also all general medical problems.
