Dr Aamer Nisar is a highly qualified senior orthopaedic surgeon. He graduated from King Edward Medical University, Lahore and then moved to the UK for higher education and surgical training.
During 20 years abroad, he had the opportunity to work in some of the most renowned institutes in the UK, Canada and the USA.
Dr Nisar has special expertise in revision joint replacements in which he has carried out a large number of one stage and two stage revisions including proximal and distal femur replacements, along with megaprosthesis for revisions and bone tumours.
During this stay in the UK, as a leading arthroplasty surgeon in Yorkshire, he developed a niche in revision of infected joint replacements, both two-stage revisions and one-stage revisions in selected cases.
He also excels in computer assisted joint replacements for which he did a Diploma in Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery, and has trained a number of young surgeons in this field.
I have been providing medical reports for a variety of cases since 2014. These include personal injuries, accidents, work place injuries and work related stress injuries, major trauma and clinical negligence cases.
I have provided well over 500 medical reports. My clinical experience of specialist training in Orthopaedics and Trauma, and then as a consultant working at a major trauma centre, has helped a great deal in understanding trauma mechanisms.
I currently work as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, at a Regional Trauma Centre, with teaching and training responsibilities.
