Professor Tony Kochhar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Central London and in Kent. He specialises in surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, and is an expert in the treatment of Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI).
He has completed his orthopaedic training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London, before undertaking an advanced specialist fellowship in New York and a further fellowship at the internationally renowned ALPS Surgery Institute in Annecy, France — where he trained in the pioneering arthroscopic Latarjet technique.
He has over 20 years of medicolegal experience and is one of the UK’s most respected expert witnesses in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions.
He prepares independent medical reports to the highest standard, compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Professor Kochhar accepts instructions directly from solicitors as well as through medicolegal agencies and intermediaries. Reports are delivered promptly and he is available for joint instructions, single joint expert appointments, and court attendance where required.
